Heat Races The
36 fastest cars from qualifying are placed directly into the heat races.
The fastest car in
qualifying starts from position 10 in the first heat, second fastest
from position 10 in the second heat, third fastest from position 10 in
the third heat, fourth fastest from position 9 in the first heat, and so
on. Otherwise known as a 10-car inversion.
If there is less than 6
non-qualifiers outside the fastest 36 cars, they tag the back of the
heats. If there are more than 6 non-qualifiers outside the fastest 36
cars, they will run non-qualifier race(s).
Drivers run 2 heats each and points are scored for the positions that
each driver finishes as follows :

World Series Sprintcars
Feature Races At the completion of qualifying and heat racing we take into account
the finishing positions of the dashes, then the points standings of the
rest of the field.
Depending on the number of cars, we start with the lowest features which
are the D and C Mains.
This C-Main accommodates the drivers ranked 29th to 44th in the
standings from either heat races or non-qualifier races. The D-Main if
required and time permits is for the cars that have qualified 45th
onwards from either heat races or non-qualifier races.
